We started shooting weddings because we couldn't stand watching couples perform for a camera instead of living their own day — so we built a studio around the opposite idea.

No scripts, no cards, no "look this way and hold it." Small crew, and a lot of patience for the moment that actually happens instead of the one that was planned. Twenty years in, that's still the only thing we care about getting right.
